UPSC Advt No 51/2014 – Apply Online for Engineer & Ship Surveyor cum Dy Director General Posts: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for recruitment of the Engineer & Ship Surveyor cum Deputy Director General vacancies.  Age Limit: Candidates age limit should not exceed 50 years as on closing date. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Certificate of competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class -I (Steam and Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act-1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said act.
